Frances' Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
4 eggs
2 c. evaporated milk
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter (4 small slices)
1/4 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Blend eggs, sugar and milk well. Gradually add extract, mixing all the ingredients together.
Now add cornstarch; be sure to blend this in well to avoid lumps. Blend in nutmeg.
Stir; now add the butter.
Pour into pie shell. Garnish top of pie with nutmeg.
