Enchilada Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 to 2 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    4 round corn tortillas
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
Preparation
    Mix ground beef, onion and garlic in a 2-quart casserole dish. Microwave at High until beef is brown (5 to 9 minutes), stirring once to break up beef.
    Drain.
