Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. stale bread
1 c. fresh bread
3 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. raisins
Preparation

Break bread into small pieces.
Heat milk; pour over bread. Let stand until completely cooled.
Cream margarine with sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and salt.
Add to bread mixture.
Mix well. Stir in raisins.
Pour mixture into buttered baking dish.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
