Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Beat egg and add fruit cocktail, including liquid.
    Fold into flour mixture.
    Pour into a 9 x 12-inch baking pan.
    Top with 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
