Carrot Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 1/2 c. cooked carrots
Preparation
    Brown onions in butter; mix with bread crumbs, salt, cheese and water.
    Place 1 cup carrots in greased 1-quart casserole. Cover with bread crumb mixture.
    Arrange remaining carrots in overlapping circles around edge of casserole.
    Dot with margarine. Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
