Molasses Crumb Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. molasses
    1 egg
    1 c. hot water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Save 1 cup crumbs for topping.
    Mix the rest of the ingredients and put crumbs on top.
    Bake 30 minutes at 375\u00b0. Makes 2 large pies.
