Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. macaroni, cooked following box directions
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter; add flour and blend together until smooth.
    Add milk gradually, constantly stirring until mixture boils.
    Add salt and pepper; cook for 3 minutes.
    Stir in grated cheese and add the macaroni, or put in baking dish or casserole.
    Sprinkle with additional grated cheese and bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
    A few strips of bacon, placed on top a few minutes before baking is complete is a good addition.
