Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. Karo white syrup
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    cherries with stems
    12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1/2 block paraffin wax
Preparation
    Bring butter and syrup to a boil.
    Mix in confectioners sugar until it thickens (or add more confectioners sugar if necessary). Wrap 1/2 teaspoon of mixture around cherry with stem.
    Cool in refrigerator 2 hours.
    Melt chocolate and paraffin in top of double boiler.
    Dip wrapped cherries in chocolate mixture.
    Then cool on cookie sheet.
