Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
    6 c. peeled, sliced apples (about 8 medium)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon.
    Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
    Arrange 1/2 the apple slices in buttered 8-inch square baking dish.
    Sprinkle 1/2 the sugar mixture over apples.
    Top with remaining apples and sugar mixture.
    Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until apples are tender.
    Serve warm.
    Serves 6.
