Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs, well beaten
3 c. oatmeal
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream the butter, Crisco and brown sugar.
Add soda-water mixture.
Sift flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
Add eggs, oatmeal, vanilla and raisins.
Place on cookie sheets by teaspoons.
Bake 15 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
