Zenobia Bryant'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream applesauce,
butter
and\tsugar
together and put into boiling
water
with
1 teaspoon soda.
Mix raisins, nuts and spices with
flour\tand
stir
into first mixture.\tCan be baked in layers or loaf.\tCook at 350\u00b0 until done.
