Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    3 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Pour pineapple into pan.
    Toss together apples, 1/4 cup sugar and lemon juice.
    Place on top of pineapple.
    Sprinkle fruit layers with dry cake mix.
    Top with melted margarine and 1/4 cup sugar.
    Top this with chopped pecans.
    Bake 20 minutes.
    Cut with knife to allow juice to rise to top.
    Bake 30 minutes longer.
