Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cut up beef (stew meat)
    6 carrots, cut into chunks
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 medium onion, quartered
    4 to 6 potatoes, cut into chunks
    2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place meat and vegetables in a roaster. Sprinkle with salt, sugar, pepper and tapioca.
    Pour tomato juice over.
    Cover and bake in a preheated 300\u00b0 oven for 4 hours. Stir occasionally.
