Apple Pie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. soda
3 tsp. cinnamon
2-1/2 c. diced apples
1 egg
2 Tbsp. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour

Preparation

Mix all ingredients, adding applies and nuts last.
Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate.
Bake 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Cut as a pie. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
Makes one 9-inch cake.
