Oatmeal Cake And Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix together oats and boiling water and let stand in bowl. Blend all ingredients (including oats and water) together and pour in a greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes (check though, ovens vary); it may take only 30 minutes.
