Date-Nut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar (brown)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
    4 c. Rice Krispies cereal
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1 can coconut
Preparation
    Melt butter; add sugar and dates.
    Cook 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add cereal, nuts and coconut. Roll into balls.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    (Putting several balls in Ziploc bag with powdered sugar and shaking saves a lot of time.)
