Spaghetti Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 onions, chopped fine
    3 cloves, minced
    2 lb. ground beef
    3 c. tomato juice
    1 1/2 c. tomato puree
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. parsley, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1 Tbsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 medium bay leaf
    12 stuffed olives
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Heat oil in deep frying pan.
    Add onions, garlic and brown; add meat and brown slowly. Heat tomato juice, puree, and paste in deep kettle (3 qt. size). Add meat mixture, celery, green pepper, parsley, and other seasonings. Simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf. Add sliced olives; simmer 10 minutes longer. Serve over hot spaghetti. Top with Parmesan cheese. Makes 2 quarts spaghetti sauce. Freezes well.
