Deb'S Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 lb. pitted dates
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    3 c. Rice Krispies
    coconut
Preparation
    Mix margarine, dates, vanilla and sugar in saucepan and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
    Add egg and cook 5 minutes longer, until dates are all mixed.
    Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies.
    Let cool and roll into balls.
    Roll in coconut.
