South Carolina Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1/4 c. milk
    2 c. corn, cooked
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add eggs, shortening and milk.
    Stir in the corn.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot shortening.
    Fry for 3 to 5 minutes or until brown.
    Serves 6.
