Beef And Red Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef or chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes (4 c.)
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes in puree
    2 c. water
    1/2 lb. uncooked wide noodles
    seasoned flour
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
Preparation
    Roll meat in seasoned flour and brown in oil.
    Add garlic, red pepper, basil, pureed tomatoes and water.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender.
    Add noodles, making sure sauce covers noodles.
    Cook about 20 minutes, adding water if necessary.
    Stir once or twice.
    Add 1 (10 ounce) box frozen peas; cook about 5 more minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
