Ham Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 or 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    pepper to taste
    2 c. water
    1 c. rice
    1 to 2 c. chopped ham (chicken)
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 c. cleaned shrimp
Preparation
    Heat oil in heavy kettle; add green pepper, onion and garlic. Cook until tender, but not browned.
    Add Worcestershire sauce, thyme, water and tomatoes.
    Heat to boiling.
    Add rice and ham. Cover tightly and cook 25 minutes, until rice is tender.
    Add mushrooms and shrimp; stir lightly and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
