Gourmet Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain and save juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip Lite at room temperature
    2 to 3 apples, unpeeled and cut into chunks
    1 c. cocktail peanuts, chopped in blender
Preparation
    Mix pineapple and marshmallows.
    Mix cornstarch, sugar, egg, vinegar and pineapple juice; cook over medium heat until slightly thickened.
    Cool and combine with Cool Whip.
    Fold in pineapple and marshmallows.
    Add apples and nuts.
    Pour in a 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Refrigerate 8 hours.
