Jam Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    dash of salt
    raspberry or apricot preserves
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and butter, beating until well blended.
    Stir in flour and salt, mixing well.
    Form into a ball.
    Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
    Using about 1 tablespoon dough, press into a 2 1/2-inch tart pan.
    Keep dough as even in thickness as possible.
    Trim or shape top evenly.
    Repeat with remaining dough.
    Spoon about 1 tablespoon preserves into each tart shell.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes until golden crust.
