German Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 c. water
    1 c. Crisco oil
    3 1/2 tsp. cocoa
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 stick oleo
    1 small pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
    confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    ground walnuts
Preparation
    Sift together
    sugar and flour.
    Mix in saucepan water, oil and cocoa.
    Put
    on
    stove
    and
    bring to boil.
    Pour over flour and
    sugar.
    Add eggs, well beaten, buttermilk and soda. (I use plain milk with 1 tablespoon vinegar.) Your batter will be real thin.
    Bake
    in oven at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Pan size 12 x 8 1/2-inches or 15 x 10-inches.
