Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices toasted buttered white bread, cut in strips
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    raisins
    cinnamon
    sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Beat together eggs, 1/2 cup milk and salt.
    Layer bread strips.
    Add raisins to taste.
    Pour egg and milk evenly over bread; pat down. Top with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve cold with whipped cream.
