Easy Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 c. whipping cream
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; mix well. Cook over medium heat until mixture reaches 200\u00b0, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in butter, whipping cream and vanilla.
    Serve sauce warm over ice cream or pound cake.
    Makes 3 cups.
