Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. oats
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. canned pumpkin
    1 c. chocolate chips (I usually use a little more)
    1 c. chopped walnuts or whatever nuts you like
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a medium size bowl; set aside.
    In a large bowl, cream the butter with beater; add sugars gradually, beating until fluffy.
    Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
    Alternate additions of the pumpkin and dry ingredients, mixing well by hand.
    Add chocolate chips and nuts, mixing once again by hand.
    Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
    Bake approximately 16 to 20 minutes.
    Cookies are done when bottoms are golden.
    Cool on wire racks.
