Sweet And Sour Party Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. butter/oleo
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
few drops Tabasco sauce
1 green pepper, diced
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients, mixing well.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Brown in butter over medium heat or brown on broiler pan in oven.
Place meatballs in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Combine cornstarch, vinegar and sugar in a medium sized saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until clear and thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour over meatballs and bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Yields 4 dozen (approximately).
