1 c. onions
1 c. carrots
1 c. celery
1 c. parsley (add before serving)
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 qt. chicken stock (4 cubes to 4 c. water)
1 qt. milk
pinch soda
salt and cayenne pepper to taste
1 lb. cheese, grated
