Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Evans black beans, soaked at least 24 hours in cold water
    1/2 lb. turkey ham
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 medium green pepper
    olive oil
    6 Tbsp. dried beef broth
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. cayenne powder
    1 tsp. garlic
    1 tsp. cilantro
Preparation
    Drain beans and cover with cold water.
    Boil gently until tender; drain.
    Saute ham, onions and pepper in olive oil in kettle.
    Put beans back into kettle and add 5 cups of water, beef broth, chili powder, cayenne, garlic and cilantro.
