Mexican Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix the milk and 2 cups sugar in a saucepan; cook for 15 minutes.
    Melt remaining sugar in an iron skillet over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Add to the milk mixture.
    Add the pecans and vanilla; beat until thick.
    Pour onto well-buttered pan and cool. Cut into squares.
