Faccia Di Vecchia - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/3 c. lukewarm milk
    1/2 c. warm milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 can sardines, drained, deboned and cut into small pieces
    1 can anchovies (do not drain), cut up and mix with sardines
    1 large bunch green onions, chopped
    olive oil (approximately 4 oz. or more)
    4 oz. grated Romano cheese, combined with 4 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
    dried basil leaves (optional)
    black pepper (optional)
    garlic powder (optional)
Preparation
    Poke small pieces of sardines and anchovies into dough, covering it completely.
    Spread
    and
    press
    onions
    down over fish.
    Sprinkle cheese on top and
    pour olive oil to cover all mixture.
    Sprinkle seasonings over
    top.
    Allow
    dough to rise again (about halfway up side
    of
    pan)
    before
    baking in 375\u00b0 oven until brown.
    Cut
    into
    desired portions and serve while warm.
