Claudine'S Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 can Swanson chicken broth
    3/4 cube real butter
    salt to taste
    water*
    handful vermicelli, broken in small pieces (about 1-inch or so)
Preparation
    *Add enough water so that with the chicken broth, the total liquid is 4 cups.
