Cheddar Pecan Toasts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 stick butter, softened
    1/4 c. sherry
    1/2 tsp. salt
    Tabasco to taste
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped and toasted
    4 (6 inch) pita loaves, halved horizontally, cut crosswise (quartered) and toasted lightly
Preparation
    In
    a bowl, cream together cheese, butter, sherry, salt and Tabasco.
    Stir
    in pecans. Spread on pita and broil 1 to 2 minutes.
