Butter Pecan Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
sifted xxx sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. nuts
2 c. sifted flour
Preparation

Gradually add sugar to butter, mixing well after each addition. Stir in nuts and then flour, 1/3 cup at a time.
Chill dough until stiff enough to handle, about 2 or 3 hours.
Shape into 1-inch balls and place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until brightly brown on bottom.
Place on wire rack to cool. Roll in xxx sugar and then again. Makes 4 dozen.
