Parker House Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    2/3 cake compressed yeast
    1/2 c. water
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald and cool milk and shortening.
    Mix yeast, water and some sugar in pan; let rise.
    Add eggs and rest of sugar to yeast mixture, then pour in milk and shortening mixture.
    Add flour; stir well.
    Put in refrigerator to cool and rise.
    It can be used some hours later, but better to leave in refrigerator overnight.
    Form in circle (like 8-slice pie).
    Roll from the outside to the center. Put on pans.
    Let rise.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
