Copper Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans sliced carrots
    1 green pepper
    1 red onion
    1/2 c. oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar
    10 oz. can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Drain carrots and set aside. Chop green pepper and onion.
    Add all ingredients except carrots and mix well. Add carrots and marinate for several hours or overnight. Drain and serve.
