Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
1/2 c. white Karo
dash of salt
Preparation

Place egg whites, syrup and salt in medium bowl of mixer and whip at a high speed until it will stand in peaks.
Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar and continue beating until sugar is well blended and does not taste grainy.
Add vanilla and spread on cake.
This recipe makes enough for large cake.
