Hot Cheese Canapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
    8 slices uncooked bacon
    2 small onions
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. mayonnaise
    1 or more pkg. party wheat or rye
Preparation
    Put cheese,
    bacon and onions through a meat grinder or food processor.
    In
    a medium size mixing bowl, combine cheese mixture, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce and mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly. Place
    mixture
    on
    large
    piece
    of waxed paper. Shape into a log so that when sliced it will fit onto a piece of party
    bread. Wrap
    and
    freeze
    until
    ready to serve. At serving time,
    cut frozen
    log
    into
    1/4 inch slices.
    Place cheese slice
    on
    a piece
    of
    party
    bread.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Place under the broiler until browned.
