Pork Loin Roast - Americana - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 lb. pork loin roast
1 c. applesauce
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation

Place roast, fat side up, on a rack in an open roasting pan. Combine applesauce, onion, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar and salt.
Spread applesauce mixture over meat. Insert meat thermometer so tip reaches the center of the thickest part.
Be careful that tip does not rest in fat or on bone.
Do not add water.
Do not cover.
