Strawberry Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. water
    2 c. chopped rhubarb
    1 1/3 c. strawberries
Preparation
    Cover rhubarb with boiling water and let stand 15 minutes. Drain and add strawberries in saucepan.
    Add sugar, butter, water and cornstarch.
    Cook over low heat until it begins to thicken. Pour over berries and rhubarb in pie baked shell.
    Put meringue on pie.
    Bake until brown.
