Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. raw rhubarb
Preparation
    Make bread dough and rise halfway.
    Press apple wedges in or put cottage cheese in and fold over.
    Pour sugar and cream over (cinnamon with the apples) and bake at 350\u00b0 until hollow to tap.
