Funeral Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. water
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift sugar and flour together into bowl.
    Put margarine, shortening, cocoa and water in saucepan. Bring to rapid boil and pour over sugar and flour mixture.
    Mix well. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
    Pour into greased 11 x 16-inch pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 400\u00b0 until a toothpick comes out clean or cake begins to pull away from sides of pan.
    Ice with Funeral Cake Icing while cake is hot.
    Serve with cool.
    Soothing at funeral luncheons or anytime.
