Double Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can pineapple slices, drained
maraschino cherries, halved
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe pineapple supreme cake mix
whipped cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.
Arrange pineapple slices and cherry halves on the sugar mixture.
Mix cake according to package directions (do not substitute pineapple juice for water).
Beat as directed on package.
Pour batter over fruit.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes.
Turn upside down onto a large platter or cookie sheet.
Serve warm with whipped cream.
