Garlic And Beer Marinated Shrimp Kabobs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh/frozen raw shrimp in shells
    3/4 c. beer
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. chopped chives or 1/2 tsp. dried chives
    1/2 tsp. red pepper sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 cloves crushed garlic
Preparation
    Peel shrimp.
    Make a shallow cut lengthwise down back of each shrimp and wash out vein.
    Mix remaining ingredients in shallow glass or plastic container.
    Stir in shrimp.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
    Set oven control to broil.
    Remove shrimp; reserve beer marinade.
    Thread shrimp about 1-inch apart on 15-inch metal skewers.
    Place on rack in broiler pan.
    Broil kabobs about 4-inches from heat for about 5 minutes, turning and brushing with marinade once until shrimp are pink.
    Serve with melted margarine or butter and lemon wedges, if desired.
    Makes 4 servings.
