Yorkshire Country Captain - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-3 lb. chicken
    2 c. water
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    3 sm. onions, thinly sliced
    3 c. rice, cooked
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. onion, finely minced
    3/4 c. salt pork, finely minced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    salt
    almonds
Preparation
    Cut chicken into large pieces.
    Dredge with salt, pepper, curry powder, and flour.
    Fry minced onion and pork until golden brown.
    Add chicken.
    Brown slowly.
    Add water and bouillon cubes. Cover and simmer until chicken is tender.
    Remove chicken from mixture.
    Combine butter and flour.
    Add to chicken broth.
    Cook until smooth.
    Cover chicken with gravy.
    Garnish with sauteed almonds, and serve with rice.
