Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat 2 minutes. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with cup of water, beating thoroughly.
Bake in greased and floured cake pan for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
