Swiss Steak For Six - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 top round steaks
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
2 c. beef stock
1/2 c. julienned carrots
1/2 c. sliced onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and thyme. Dredge steaks in mixture to coat. Sear steaks in 2 tablespoons hot oil to brown on both sides. Place in saute pan. Add thyme and bay leaf.
Pour in beef stock. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Turn steaks.
Add vegetables. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Arrange on platter, vegetables on top. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
