Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 bay leaf
    1 whole clove
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes, bay leaf, onion and clove.
    Cover; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Combine butter and flour.
    Add to tomatoes.
    Add slowly to cold milk.
    Heat to boiling.
    Season to taste.
