Ingredients

1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. tofu
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. curry
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. cumin
1 to 2 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
2 Tbsp. tamari/soy sauce
Preparation

Drain tofu, rinse, dry on a towel and cut into 1/2 to 1 inch cubes.
Heat oil in wok or skillet until quite hot.
Add tofu and turn when slightly golden.
Lower heat and add turmeric.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Add other spices and garlic to taste.
Turn up heat a little.
Add nutritional yeast and tamari; cook another 2 to 5 minutes.
Serve with rice or pasta.
